Description

Lockton is building out a Global Entertainment Business. Already the largest private owned global insurance broker in the world, operating out of 90 offices worldwide and covering 125 countries, Lockton is set to expand again.


Taking advantage of our private ownership which delivers 90% reinvestment, Lockton is building out a Global Entertainment and Contingency business. We will capitalise on our existing Sports & Contingency platform expanding our products and target market with an initial focus on the live music and events space, film, TV and media.


The business has achieved significant success in recent years with strong organic growth and positive client and employee feedback. The internal culture of the organisation is recognised as a key differentiator and the quality of service delivery is highly rated by clients. To maintain these high standards Lockton is investing in talent for the future.
As such we are looking for New Business Development Executives to join this grass roots investment. The roles can be based out of London or within one of our regional offices. Your primary responsibility will be generation of new business across the UK with a wider scope to look at Global Business.

This will involve


  • Proactive generation of new business through networking, relationship building and attending industry related events.
  • Managing new relationships and maintaining existing ones for growth.
  • Maintaining a balanced pipeline for future revenues by sourcing new prospects using the above.
  • Engaging and communicating effectively with senior level decision makers, often C-Level executives.
  • Collaborating with other internal teams to maximise revenue opportunities from prospects and existing clients.
  • Developing a high level of product knowledge within the Entertainment & Contingency insurance sector.

Candidate Profile
