Description

Checkmate.uk.com have grown rapidly since their launch in 2010 and now require an additional motivated developer to join the team on a green field project during an exciting development and growth phase of the business; delivering their market leading solution.

The role is home-based, so would suit an individual who is flexible, self-motivated, and adaptable, can work on their own and effectively plan and manage their own workload. 

The purpose of the role is: 

To assist in the administration of Checkmate’s technical risk evaluation programme in order to continuously improve construction standards of works insured under the Checkmate warranty.

To support the technical team in order to ensure compliance with the relevant underwriting criteria set by Checkmate.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities will include:

·Monitoring technical calls from Lockton reception

·Logging chases for the team while on the road

·Monitoring cameras orders

·Monitoring/Maintaining Existing Building Assessments register

·Chasing Development Documents/Un allocated images/Defected images

·Website training for members

·Assisting the Site staffs with Risk Management Compliance/Understanding 

·Progress updates i.e. Development/Plot status report

·Letter of Registration and Technical Sign off

Candidate Profile

Competencies required from suitable candidate include:

·A thorough knowledge of the computer desktop software provided by Lockton and advanced knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint Outlook) or similar software applications

·Ability to effectively carry our electronic filing in all its formats including email

·Ability to build and maintain good business relationships with clients and associates

·Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing with clients, other associates

·Ability to manage time, prioritise and ensure that deadlines are met without

·A thorough understanding of and adherence to Lockton standards and procedures

·A thorough knowledge of the computer desktop software provided by Lockton.

·Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing with clients, insurers and other associates.
