Description

Our successful and expanding Terrorism and Political Violence team is seeking an experienced Broker to join us in a dynamic, client- and market-facing role. In this role you will design and place Terrorism and Political Violence insurance programmes on a direct and reinsurance basis. This is an incredibly global book, and as such this is a varied role with a broad spectrum of work. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, place, and market insurance programmes in line with client strategies and Lockton procedures
  • Provide expert consultancy services tailored to clients’ business needs, risk exposures, and insurance requirements
  • Build and maintain strong operational and strategic relationships with insurance markets
  • Support Client Strategy Meetings and contribute to internal and external product presentations
  • Conduct technical reviews of insurance programmes, recommending enhancements where necessary
  • Perform benchmarking exercises on coverage, limits, and deductibles
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments, sharing insights across relevant teams
  • Prepare accurate and compelling broking presentations that meet clients’ specific needs
  • Assist in the resolution of insurer and third-party service issues
  • Identify opportunities for new business development and cross-selling
  • Collaborate with Lockton’s internal teams and specialist resources to support client service delivery
  • Contribute to internal and client-facing reports, bulletins, and presentations

Candidate Profile

We are looking for:

  • A self-starter – you are driven, collaborative, and always aiming to achieve the very best for your clients
  • A problem-solver, with a proactive approach to complex challenges
  • Existing experience within the Terrorism/Political Violence insurance market
  • A great knowledge of Terrorism/Political Violence products and market practices
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills, with a commitment to meeting deadlines
  • Proven relationship-building abilities with clients, underwriters, and internal stakeholders
