Compliance & Governance Lead
The purpose of this role is to lead on technical & compliance matters on behalf of the People Solutions team and provide support to the wider team as and when required.
Key Tasks & Duties
• Lead internal audit activities, including planning, coordinating, and overseeing audit programmes.• Undertake regional and divisional audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.• Act as the NDA Champion, providing guidance and oversight on non-disclosure agreements.• Manage and approve wording changes to templates, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies.• Serve as the key point of contact within the Professional Services team for Fee Agreement, TOBA (Terms of Business Agreement), and contract-related queries.• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Standard Process Operating Environment (SPOE) procedures.• Conduct file reviews as required to monitor quality, compliance, and adherence to internal processes.• Produce technical guidance and white papers for both internal stakeholders and external audiences.• Deliver compliance induction training for new recruits and provide ongoing training and regulatory updates to colleagues as required.• Support and deliver ad hoc projects in line with business priorities.• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and industry best practice.• Build and maintain strong working relationships with in-house Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure effective governance and regulatory compliance.
