Insurance Administrator
Due to continued successful growth, we are now hiring for an Insurance Administrator to join our Global Real Estate & Construction team in Malta.
The specialist and dedicated Global Real Estate & Construction Division comprising of more than 200 Associates making our integrated team the largest and most established combined Real Estate and Construction team in the London Market.
As an Insurance Administrator based in our Malta office, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day service delivery to European property owner and real estate clients. You will serve as a contact for EEA risks within the client service team, working with an allocation of clients of varying sizes from commercial to large corporate accounts across Europe, mostly placed in the London Market with multinational insurers.
Role responsibilities will include:
Strong academic background, with an analytical mindset and/or experience in a similar role or experience of this class of insurance
Candidates should possess a drive to learn with a work ethic of continual improvement and excellent service
Candidates should possess excellent communications skills, including fluent written and spoken English, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, insurers and other Associates
Ability and willingness to undertake occasional business travel to the UK
Ability to build effective and positive relationships, and communicate both informally and in formal situations
Excellent time management and the ability to work independently and under pressure, managing clients’ deadlines and responding within agreed SLAs
Highly motivated with excellent attention to detail
An understanding of regulatory controls and procedures applicable to insurance brokers and appreciation of the importance of compliance with internal and external policies and procedures
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Outlook)
We are looking for someone that has the energy and appetite to learn and progress within our business
Working knowledge of a second European language (apart from Maltese) is considered an advantage
Interest in undertaking professional qualifications, e.g., those offered by the Chartered Insurance Institute, as well as willingness to develop knowledge through formal and informal learning, both internally and externally
