Logistical Support Assistant

Description

We are looking for a Logistical Support Assistant to join our Facilities Team based in the London office. The role provides operational support to ensure the smooth movement of goods, materials, and equipment.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Postal Services

  • Supporting the Logistics Manager to aid in the provision of postal services
  • Ensure provisions on site are fit for purpose and operational on a daily basis
  • General internal post collections and deliveries
  • Ordering of stationery 

General Maintenance

  • Ensure all desk power is working
  • General office upkeep and liaison with the Logistical Manager and Facilities Team reporting any problems and resolving issues
  • General maintenance of soft furnishings

Internal Team Moves

  • Movement and construction of desks internally
  • Movement of core desk IT equipment and ensure everything is working

Meeting Rooms and Client Suites

  • Prepare the set-up of meeting rooms in accordance with requests in a timely manner and ensure they are set back to normal following an event
  • Help internal and external clients with set up of events

Floor Security Integrity

 

 

 

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have the following:

  • Willingness to satisfy internal clients needs
  • Ensure that work output is satisfactory, consistent and delivered on time
  • Ability to prioritise and be flexible
  • Must be able to plan, schedule and monitor own work
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, feedback and consult with internal colleagues and external clients
  • Good communicator and can actively build relationships with both the team and internal / external clients
  • Take responsibility for own work and follows through any job to completion
  • Ability to use core IT systems in line with job requirements
  • General knowledge of manual handling and be able to carry out manual tasks

This role operates on a shift pattern working Monday - Friday, 7.5 hours per day. Shifts will start between 7.30am and 9am and is full time in the office.

A uniform and PPE will be provided.
