Senior Benefits Analyst

Description

The role of the Senior Analyst/Associate Consultant is to manage the administration for M&A employee benefits due diligence projects and Key Person placement along with support for Key Lockton clients, being a key resource to both the Specialty Services Consulting team and the wider team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Consultants dealing with M&A due diligence transactions to gather and review documentation from data rooms for analysis of employee benefit programmes for acquisitions, mergers and divestitures to support the wider due diligence process
  • Assist Consultants with Key Person placement by supporting administration of initial applications and throughout underwriting
  • Assist Consultants in preparation of client deliverables and materials, including but not limited to due diligence reporting, periodic status reports and financial and technical summaries
  • Assist Consultants in tracking project progress and timelines, maintaining client files, populating and maintaining activity/issues trackers
  • Support team members in addressing and resolving client issues involving claims, administration, compliance, etc.
  • Meet all regulatory requirements

Candidate Profile

  • Proactive and enthusiasm to learn and grow experience in M&A projects along with wider benefit consultancy
  • Proven experience in working to deadlines
  • Track record of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt under pressure and problem solve
  • Ability to support, add value and provide high quality outputs
  • Robust comprehension and calculation skills
  • Strong MSOffice skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Fast learner, with the ability to pick-up new processes, skills and knowledge
  • Strong team working and individual intuition
  • Personable and professional with internal and external parties
  • Ability to manage day to day responsibilities of managing projects effectively
  • Provide support to junior team members, dedicating time to upskilling & educating
  • Continued learning beyond GR1 and IF7 required – Cert CII qualified ideal
