Lockton - Experienced Professional
Senior Marketing Manager (FTC) - Continental Europe & Industry Practices
Lockton’s Marketing department is an integrated team of divisional marketing, communications and design specialists who act as trusted advisors to create and implement strategic marketing plans and activity that supports business objectives.
Our specialist skills include advertising, marketing design and copywriting, thought leadership content production, digital marketing, and client document support (such as for tenders). We partner with Lockton’s brokering divisions to proactively tailor strategies that enable commercial success.
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our central marketing team as Senior Marketing Manager on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. This role will play an integral part in the Marketing, Communications and Brand senior team.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing for UK and Europe, you will require excellent knowledge and a proven track record of leading, driving, and delivering marketing strategy that builds clear brand value, inspires and engages our target audiences, and demonstrates ROI with clear and measurable business results.
As the marketing lead for Continental Europe (new country expansions and existing country support) and our Industry Practices (Mining, Energy & Power, Healthcare, plus new practices to be launched), you will be the trusted advisor for all aspects of marketing and act as a fundamental facilitator to help each business division achieve their commercial goals and growth aspirations. You will need to collaborate closely with the central marketing’s team of designers, content writers, communications specialists, digital marketing specialists and external agencies to deliver compelling multi-channel campaigns for each business division and their target audience clusters.
Supported by one Marketing Assistant (no direct reports), you will require excellent leadership skills, the ability to effectively manage a varied workload, and the willingness to be hands‑on with day‑to‑day marketing activity to ensure high‑quality deliverables are produced on time and to the required standard.
Working alongside our Head of Marketing, the Head of Continental Europe, senior leadership teams across European markets, and senior leaders for each Industry Practice, you will play a significant role in shaping and delivering marketing strategy that aligns to business goals, supports commercial priorities, and drives growth across our European operations and Industry Practices.
