Lockton International Property
The International Property team places a varied range of Property risks in the London, European and international markets. We work with Lockton offices, Lockton Global Partners, and third-party partner brokers across all continents.
We place numerous types of Property cover with a variety of attachment points, from primary through to high excess limits, for a wide range of client industries.
Account Manager Role – What is involved?
As an Account Manager you will be responsible for the provision of day-to-day account management and servicing of our client’s insurance programmes to support the retention and development of the business.
Additional key role responsibilities will include preparing Client and London market documentation, engagement with underwriters, obtaining quotes from markets, managing the new business pipeline, project management work for specific key Clients, and effective and timely management of all renewals to ensure completion by the due date.
What skills and experience would we like you to have?
Essential
- Ability to prepare London market slips, endorsements, adjustments and accurate Client documentation.
- Experience preparing submissions and broking presentations for the market.
- Ability to work with the broking teams to prioritise workload and query any missing or incorrect content.
- Capability to provide support to our lead brokers and to interact and build relationships with London and overseas markets on allocated accounts.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with our international producers and clients.
- Become part of a collaborative team, committed to delivering service to our international Retailers.
- Analysing underwriting information to prepare market submissions along with an Account Executive.
- Work with the Account Executive team to ensure all required information is documented.
- Coordinating with the dedicated Claims team in the event of a loss.
- Building a strong working network of our global colleagues and partners
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software applications.
- Collaborate with the team to update, account sheets, revenue trackers, budget sheets and market appetite documents.
Desirable
- Property Experience
- Exposure to Global/Multinational accounts / and complex placements.
- Good understanding of Property clauses and wordings and how these are applied.
- Experience of using Brokeasure, SalesForce and Artificial systems.
- Good understanding of international taxes and legal considerations.
- Working knowledge of PPL.
