Description

Your role responsibilities:

  • Drafting and reviewing insurance term reports, following internal templates and guidance (training provided)
  • Managing standard agreements such as non-disclosure agreements and hold harmless letters
  • Supporting project management activities across transactions
  • Helping coordinate business development efforts and follow-up activities
  • Building a network within the Corporate Finance and legal communities
  • Maintaining and analyzing data through our CRM system (Salesforce)

  • Law degree preferred – LPC is a plus
  • Prior experience in gained in an M&A, legal, or transactional environment preferred
  • Paralegal experience preferred

About The Position

As part of Lockton’s Transactional Risks team, you’ll work on some of the most exciting deals in the market—supporting private equity firms, law firms, and investment houses as they navigate complex transactions. The core of your role will involve structuring tailored insurance solutions—primarily Warranty & Indemnity (W&I) Insurance)—to protect buyers and sellers in M&A deals.

Unlike traditional insurance roles, there are no renewals, no portfolios; Every deal is different, and every placement is one-of-a-kind. You’ll be fully immersed in live transactions from day one, gaining exposure to high-value deals and top-tier clients.
