Broker Support Associate Role – What is involved?

 

The Broker Support Associate is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to brokers, ensuring efficient processing of client documentation, communication with clients, and maintaining a high standard of service delivery. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.

 

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract based from the London office.  

 

What are the typical responsibilities as a Broker Support Associate?

 

  • Arrange client finance loans
  • Load slips/endorsements/binders to the relevant Underwriters on PPL
  • Assist the IBA and TSG teams with reconciliation queries
  • Support brokers with client and insurers queries
  • Create multinational tax schedules
  • Assist Brokers in the preparation and processing of client documentation
  • Support claims division with backloading on A4B
  • Monitor and resolve Notice of Cancellations from insurers
  • Hold monthly credit control meetings to discuss Bad Debt and Held Funds

Candidate Profile

What skills and experience would we like you to have?

 

  • Previous experience in an administrative or support role will be beneficial.
  • Experience of working in the Insurance industry will be beneficial.
  • Experience of PPL would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of tax scheduling would be beneficial
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
