Title
Broker Support Technician
Description
Lockton's ProExec team are recruiting for an experienced Broker Support Technician to join them in a role supporting the Account Handlers/Brokers in the overall servicing of the clients’ insurance placements, preparation of market submissions and client documentation.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of market and client documentation to support placement activities.
- Accurate production of policy documentation, ensuring completeness prior to issuance to clients.
- Delivery of policy documentation to clients in line with regulatory requirements and Lockton procedures.
- Interpretation of complex insurance contracts and translation into accurate and compliant policy documentation.
- Creation of MRCv3 slips, endorsements and supporting documentation from client submissions, ensuring alignment with clauses, wordings and regional requirements.
- Preparation of adjustment and renewal documentation in line with client programmes.
- Production of global tax schedules, ensuring accuracy and alignment with applicable tax regulations for underwriter agreement.
- Collaboration with the Broking Team to prioritise workload, identify gaps and resolve missing or inaccurate information.
- Ensure all work complies with Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) requirements and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Maintain accuracy in all financial and technical documentation, supporting complex placements.
- Conduct analysis, research and investigation to resolve documentation or placement issues.
- Communicate effectively with clients, insurers and internal stakeholders on technical documentation matters.
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Demonstrate sound judgement in escalating issues and involving appropriate colleagues when required.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in insurance documentation, wordings or technical support within a broking or underwriting environment.
- Working knowledge of London Market processes and documentation standards (including slips and endorsements).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle complex data and technical documentation accurately.
- Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
