The role of a placement broker within the Professional and Financial Lines (ProFin) division involves fostering growth through strong technical knowledge and client relationships with a focus on understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions. The purpose of this role is to positively contribute to the practice’s strategy and sustainable business growth by servicing existing client base and identifying further business opportunities in line with the division and company goals. We are open to candidates who wish to relocate to Dubai for this role.

 

Role Responsibilities:

 

  • Implement, monitor and control the renewal procedure for existing clients to ensure client retention of 95%
  • Identify new business leads opportunities and new areas of growth within the ProFin space
  • Consider new strategies to support and positively contribute to the ProFin growth plans expected for the next 24 months, be it at the level of new market segments to consider, new products to consider, etc.
  • Maintain renewal and new business income to at least budgeted levels and in line with set and agreed personal objectives.
  • Work within and positively contribute to the existing ProFin practice by collaborating with teammates and reinforcing team spirit.

 

 

Candidate Profile

Candidate Profile:

 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the Professional and Financial Risks Insurance Sector
  • Experience with both Retail and Wholesale Clients
  • Experience with placing into international markets
  • Possess excellent communication skills with ability to attend external client meetings when required.
  • Proficient MS Office and administrative skills.
  • Energy and the appetite to learn and collaborate with fellow associates.
