We’re seeking a Midweight Copywriter to contribute to a variety of exciting projects, including advertisements, flyers, brochures and web pages.
As a vital part of our creative team, you’ll work closely with the senior copywriter, designers, marketing managers and stakeholders to develop clear, engaging copy that’s on-brand and drives results.
This role requires a sharp eye for detail, a strong understanding of tone of voice, and the ability to adapt your writing to different platforms and audiences.
Key responsibilities:
- Conceptualise and write compelling copy for a range of marketing materials, including advertisements, flyers, brochures, and web pages.
- Liaise with stakeholders to understand their products/services, translating technical, jargon-heavy information into compelling, client-facing copy.
- Collaborate closely with designers and creative teams to ensure the copy complements the visual direction and enhances overall messaging.
- Develop clear and engaging copy tailored to different target audiences, maintaining the brand’s tone and voice across all communication channels.
- Ensure all written content is consistent, on-brand, and aligned with client objectives, taking into account brand guidelines, legal requirements, and best practices.
- Edit and proofread your own and others’ work to ensure clarity grammar, and style are consistent and high-quality.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing fresh ideas and creative concepts that align with client goals and objectives.
- Deliver work within deadlines, managing multiple projects simultaneously and maintaining a high standard of quality across all tasks.
Key skills and experience:
- Proven experience as a copywriter, preferably within a creative environment wither agency or client side, working on a variety of marketing materials.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to write for different formats (print and digital) with a focus on advertising, brochures, flyers, and web content.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt tone and voice for different audiences and platforms.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and conceptually, while staying detail-oriented.
- An understanding of SEO and the ability to optimise web pages for Google.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver multiple projects on time.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take feedback and work well in a team environment.
- A keen eye for design and layout, with an understanding of how copy integrates with visuals to deliver a cohesive message.
