Purpose of the role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Digital Product Engineer to support, enhance, and evolve our application landscape. This role bridges the gap between technical operations and product development, playing a key role in assuring quality, optimizing user experience, ensuring application performance, and supporting digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong background in low-code/no-code platforms, technical troubleshooting, automated testing, and collaborative solution-building.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Playwright.
- Implement end-to-end testing strategies to ensure UI and functionality meet product requirements.
- Regularly execute test suites and maintain test coverage across updates and deployments.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Investigate test failures, report bugs, and support resolution tracking.
- Ensure test environments reflect production conditions for realistic results.
- Deliver technical support for internal and external users across digital applications.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues by analysing logs and system behaviour.
Handle user requests via helpdesk channels (email, phone, ticketing). - Work with product teams and vendors on complex problem resolution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and functional specs.
Identify improvements to system performance, usability, and workflow efficiency. - Support digital innovation and contribute to broader technology strategy.
- Monitor system health, performance, and uptime.
- Apply regular updates, patches, and perform backups.
- Maintain security and compliance standards across applications.
- Support incident response and change management procedures.
- Assist with version deployment and release management.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and user manuals.
- Develop knowledge base articles, FAQs, and training materials.
- Train end-users on new features and platforms.
Partner with cross-functional teams to design, build, and implement solutions. - Use project management tools to track progress and coordinate activities.
- Communicate technical issues and status updates to stakeholders effectively.
- Stay up to date with trends in no-code/low-code technologies.
- Explore new tools and methods to enhance platform capabilities.
- Continuously improve technical and domain knowledge.
