Description

Following a sustained period of organic growth, the International business is now looking to expand the Shared Service Finance team with a new, experienced hire into the team to enhance and increase the quality of the reporting and cost allocation.

 

Purpose of the role

 

The purpose of the role will be to assist the Head of Shared Services Finance in the following functions:

  • Own the Shared Resources cost allocation process for the International business
  • Assist in the administration, running and consolidation of the budget, short and long range forecasting processes
  • Create regular reporting packs for monthly, quarterly, forecast and budget process

Who we are looking for

 

We expect the successful candidate to be able to tactfully challenge the norm and create as much as maintain information.

 

There will be a fine eye for detail as the role will be presenting to the Head of Shared Services Finance quality and finished work for further analysis.

 

The company has a complex business hierarchy and is a multi-currency business with operations in 32 countries, so experience in a business of this scale would be preferable.

 

The role will include, but not limited to, the below

 

 

Management Information

 

  • Accurately record and ensure costs are categorised correctly
  • Review cost and variance analysis for issues and follow up where necessary
  • Maintain reporting packs for stakeholders
  • Manage the outsourced GFSC function for month end close process
  • Create and post journals

 

Projects and Ad hoc work - as required

 

As the Shared Services division evolves and the Finance function is embedded and matures, there will be projects that arise from time to time which will involve deep involvement

 

Qualifications / Educational Requirements

 

  • Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA
  • Relevant experience with cost allocation
  • Oracle EPBCS/PBCS or Hyperion Planning experience
  • Advanced Excel
