Description

Purpose of the role

 

The purpose of the role will be to assist the Head of FP&A in the following functions:

 

Add value added and contextual insight to the financial performance of the business

 

Assist in the administration, running and consolidation of the budget, short and long range forecasting processes

 

Work with the Head of FP&A to coordinate the 5 International regions and supply relevant analysis to the US Parent in a timely manner

 

Compile, complete and check the reporting packs

 

 

The role will include, but not limited to, the below

 

Management Information

  • Providing access to and analysis of revenue data
  • Providing cost analysis, specifically employee analysis and statistics
  • Building and maintaining reporting packs for Finance stakeholders
  • Build and maintain KPI tables
  • Responding to business requests for additional information in conjunction with other member of the finance team

 

Projects and Ad hoc work - as required

 

  • As the Finance team evolves and the FP&A function is embedded and matures, there will be projects that arise from time to time which will involve deep involvement

Candidate Profile

Who we are looking for

 

The Head of FP&A is looking for an FP&A professional that understands the difference between FP&A and more general finance.

 

We expect the successful candidate to be able to tactfully challenge the normal and create as much as maintain information.

 

There will be an eye for detail as the role will be presenting to the Head of FP&A high quality and finished work for further analysis.

 

The successful candidate will enjoy having to come up with the question that needs to be answered before anyone realises the question exists.

 

The company has a complex business hierarchy and is a multi-currency business with operations in 37 countries, so experience in this kind of business would be desirable.

 

 

Qualifications / Educational Requirements

 

  • Educated to degree standard – preferable, but not essential
  • Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA
  • Relevant experience in an FP&A function
  • Evidence of skills in: Oracle EPBCS/PBCS or Hyperion

Following a sustained period of organic growth, the International business is now looking to expand the FP&A team with a new, experienced hire into the team to enhance and increase the quality of the corporate reporting.
