Description

As Lockton Re continues its growth trajectory, it is looking to hire this Head of Finance position into its Dublin office working as part of a small team. The role will see the successful candidate taking charge of the financial management for LCRM and will be the PCF11 holder for the entity.

 

Some of the core tasks and duties of the role will include:

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations and business of LRCM Europe;
  • Represent the interests of LRCM Europe both within the Lockton Group and externally;
  • Establish, manage and oversee LRCM’s finance and administration activities.
  • Ensure Lockton Group finance function has processes in place to maintain complete and accurate financial records that account for the activities of LRCM Europe at any point in time.
  • Collaborate with Lockton Group finance to develop financial reports for LRCM Europe in a coherent manner and ensure reports are produced for internal and external consumption
  • Provide continuous review and evaluation of all financial reports.
  • Oversee LRCM Europe’s financial planning and analysis, budget forecasting and re-forecasting process
  • Ensure Group Finance has established and maintains financial policies, procedures and internal controls to meet expectations of the Firm and regulatory agencies.
  • Present company management reports and financial statements to the Board of Directors and senior management of LRCM Europe on a regular basis (at least on a quarterly basis).

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate could be sourced from a number of different backgrounds for this role however the role will require a qualified accountant with the following relevant experience being useful:

  • In depth accounting and finance related experience gained in industry or in practice
  • Proven ability to drive change and implement new policies / processes
  • Demonstrate ability to work well as part of a team
  • Experience of working in a high paced deadline driven environment
  • Preferable exposure to Financial Services but strong non-Financial Services considered
  • Exposure to Finance change projects
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
