Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an analytical individual to join our Insurance Broker Accounts (IBA) team. This team works closely with Lockton’s clients and insurance underwriters to manage and reconcile client funds across Retail and Wholesale business.

The role will involve being responsible for delivering exceptional client service by acting as a liaison for insurance underwriters.

You will also have responsibility for the reconciliation of accounts and will ensure funds are settled whilst complying with CASS regulations and Lockton procedures.

This is ideal for someone with a strong interest in finance and a keen eye for detail, looking to develop within a dynamic and growing business. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of accuracy, initiative, and strong communication skills, enabling them to build positive and effective relationships with key stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

You should have:

 

  • A good understanding of the general and legal principles applicable to insurance in particular FSA client money rules.
  • Good numerical ability and an analytical mindset
  • Be adaptable and change orientated.
  • Adopts the right first-time approach.
  • Work well as part of a team in support of other team colleagues.
  • Ability to achieve individual and team objectives.
  • Have an ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing to maintain positive and successful business relationships with Lockton colleagues, our clients, insurers, and other third-party providers representing Lockton in the highest professional manner.
  • Ability to compile, analyse and interpret financial information and data to facilitate decision making, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including research and investigation.
  • Good organisational skills, ability to manage time, prioritise and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising on quality, and have the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • An understanding of cash collection/payment processes is desirable (such as general insurance accounting and client invoicing).
  • A working knowledge of the computer desktop software provided by Lockton including Microsoft Office suite, Excel, Power BI, Sector and A4B is desirable.

Please note the role is full time on site working for a period up to 6 months and will then move to hybrid (3 days in the office).
