The IBA Business Partner will be responsible for the delivery of the IBA financial targets for designated Business Units, through building and maintaining excellent relationships with the Accounting Teams, BUs, and relevant Stakeholders.

 

To maximize cash flow to meet Carrier settlement terms, reduce exposure and enhance customer service.

 

Provide oversight to key stakeholders ensuring issues are managed promptly and effectively.

 

 

Key responsibilities of the role:

 

  • Build and maintain ongoing relationships with IBA and key BUs across the UK and India
  • Provide strong visibility within the BUs to facilitate resolution of queries
  • Facilitate regular meetings with the BU, where possible on a face-to-face basis, to achieve successful outcomes
  • Manage the metrics to ensure all action is taken to achieve these
  • Management of B&DD positions, performing a hand-on approach where necessary to reduce the bad debt position
  • Provide guidance in the recovery of funded positions
  • Manage escalations, prioritising urgent activity
  • Work with the Head of Service to manage effective escalation processes and procedures between IBA and the BU’s
  • Produce Exec summary for stakeholders

Candidate Profile

Candidate Profile Competencies:

 

  • Previous experience within IBA
  • Good understanding and experience of insurance broking accounts internal and external processes
  • Strong stakeholder management skill set
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience of query and issue resolution
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvements to practices and procedures
  • Ability to assess and prioritise workload effectively and efficiently evaluating importance and prioritising accordingly
