We have a great opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join our ever-growing team in the city.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of international client accounts along with running and issuing statements, chasing debt and managing overdue balances.
The role also involves
· Handling funding, unmatched cash and cash allocation queries
· Investigating and resolving aged debt/issues
· Working closely with premium processing teams
· Handling various legacy related issues through to resolution
· Taking full ownership of your allocated accounts and resolving issues proactively
You should have the following experience:
- Extensive experience working within an insurance IBA Team
- Demonstratable client side IBA experience – not finance/cashiering
- Strong understanding of Client Account Handling, Debt chasing, Unmatched Cash resolution, Funding processes and IBA ledger reconciliation
- Understanding of Marine business
- Ability to calculate premiums from slip/endorsements
- Brokasure Desktop (Preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal onboarding or development support
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
