Description

Joining Lockton Re's Operations team, you will support the UK-based team of Operations professionals and the International Chief Operating Officer, with responsibility for a range of governance and operational functions across the Lockton Re business. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with previous insurance experience or someone looking to start a career in insurance within our dynamic and growing organisation. 


You will report into the Market Security Manager and be based in the London office.

About the role 


As a Market Security (MS) and Operations Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the effective operation, governance and control of Lockton Re’s placing markets. Working closely with the Market Security Manager and the wider Operations team, you will help ensure that Lockton Re’s market security framework is robust, compliant and consistently applied across the business. 


The role offers broad exposure to market security, onboarding, due diligence, financial monitoring and operational governance, alongside opportunities to support wider operational initiatives and projects. You will interact regularly with internal stakeholders across the business and contribute to maintaining high standards of regulatory compliance, data integrity and operational excellence. This position is well suited to someone with an interest in market security and operations who is keen to develop their technical knowledge and build a long-term career within the (re)insurance sector.

Candidate Profile

 

About you 


  • Previous (re)insurance experience advantages, but not essential 
  • Insurance qualifications would be advantageous but not essential, support will be provided to obtain these 
  • Adaptable, with a desire to develop and enhance the role and the approach within the team 
  • An eye for detail and a focus on accuracy 
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn 
  • Good communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with partners and associates at all levels. 
  • Able to work independently, manage workload effectively and prioritise competing demands / objectives to ensure deadlines are met. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
