Lockton’s Marketing department is an integrated team of divisional marketing, communications and design specialists who act as trusted advisors to create and implement strategic marketing plans and activity that supports business objectives.

Our specialist skills include advertising, marketing design and copywriting, thought leadership content production, digital marketing, and client document support (such as for tenders). We partner with Lockton’s brokering divisions to proactively tailor strategies that enable commercial success.

 

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our central marketing team for a highly driven Marketing Executive looking to take the next step in their career. In this role, you will support two key divisions within the company – Construction and Power & Energy – working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and directly engaging with stakeholders to deliver on agreed marketing plans and strategic objectives.

 

Core responsibilities:

 

  • Support the Senior Marketing Manager in execution of the Construction and Power & Energy divisional marketing strategy.
  • Maintain plans and schedules to ensure timely execution of activities such as renewal campaigns, advertising and event deadlines.
  • Working with the Social Media Manager, help create and execute the social media strategy and editorial calendar for divisional verticals.
  • Brief creative projects appropriately and work collaboratively with them to ensure creative output meets quality standards and stakeholder objectives.
  • Work with copywriters and content writers to produce relevant and engaging content.

Candidate Profile

Skills and experience requirements:

 

  • Experience in B2B multi-channel marketing, with hands-on involvement across a range of campaigns and activities.
  • Highly organised, proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.  
  • CIM or equivalent qualification, or a willingness to work towards this while in the role.
  • Experience in planning and delivering events, from small bespoke events to large-scale sponsored conferences/exhibitions, and including pre- and post-event activity.
  • Some experience in digital marketing, with knowledge of PPC and understanding of how SEO and PPC contribute to broader marketing objectives.
  • Confident using Google analytics and other reporting platforms to monitor performance and demonstrate ROI.
  • Strong written communications skills with the ability to carry out light copy editing and occasional copywriting, including email campaign and social media.
