Job Summary:


Responsible for providing a five-star guest experience for all visitors, contractors, and employees of Lockton, ensuring smooth and efficient reception and office services at The St Botolph building, while upholding Lockton’s high customer service standards.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

Reception and Switchboard

 

  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, contractors, and staff, ensuring a friendly, professional, and efficient reception service.
  • Answer, screen, and route all switchboard calls in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Handle telephone inquiries, provide appropriate information, or direct them to the relevant department or person.
  • Maintain an organized and immaculate reception area, coordinating with security and facilities when required.
  • Maintain visitor management system, ensuring all guests are signed in and issued appropriate security passes.
  • Ensure that all visitors are escorted to meeting rooms in a timely manner, and monitor meeting room usage for cleanliness and readiness.

 

Guest Service & Meeting Room Management:

 

  • Provide beverage and catering services for meetings and ad-hoc events, ensuring all requests are delivered on time.
  • Maintain and stock the beverage station and ensure meeting room areas are kept tidy throughout the day.
  • Manage and monitor guest services, ensuring high standards of guest care are consistently delivered.
  • Build positive relationships with floor occupants, offering assistance when needed and maintaining visibility throughout the day.
    Operational Support:
  • Ensure the first-floor area is manned at all times between 08:00 to 17:30, covering all guest and visitor management duties.
  • Maintain work areas and meeting rooms to ensure they are clean, tidy, and well-organized, with personal belongings kept out of sight.
  • Report any building faults, incidents, or safety concerns to management and assist with safety-related tasks.

 


Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure all safety procedures are followed, reporting any deficiencies, incidents, or risks to health and safety to your line manager.
  • Be aware of how your work impacts the environment and follow the company’s environmental procedures.
  • Assist in the investigation of incidents and provide input to improve safety and performance.

Candidate Profile

Requirements:

 

  • Previous experience in reception within corporate environment
  • Strong administration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrate professionalism with background in providing high levels of customer service at all times.
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet the evolving needs of the company.
  • Able to work in accordance with Lockton standards and adhere to company policies and procedures.
