• Serving the teams clients as an advocate for their needs, ensuring delivery of exceptional service through close and regular interaction
• The preparation of client and underwriting presentations
• The preparation of slips
• Contract reviews
• The preparation and accurate production of documentation
• Account onboarding, including sanctions checks  
• Tracking premium payments to ensure a good credit control profile exists, in conjunction with the wider team
• Assistance with the management and organisation of the team’s renewal book
• Delegating work where appropriate to other team members and escalating certain elements when required to the more senior members of the team

• Strong experience in marine insurance or another line of transferable specialty commercial insurance
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing with clients, insurers and other associates.
• Attention to detail orientated and technically proficient 
• Ability to manage time, prioritise and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality.
• Ability build and maintain good business relationships with clients, insurers and associates.
