The Senior Account Manager is responsible for the oversight of day-to-day account servicing and technical support to placing brokers and team associates in North American Casualty, ensuring the delivery of timely and accurate policy administration, invoicing, and enabling exceptional client service.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and oversight of London Market slips, endorsements, adjustments, and all client documentation, ensuring accuracy and technical excellence.
  • Evaluate submissions and direct the development of high-quality broking presentations for the market.
  • Prioritise and manage workflow across accounts in collaboration with brokers, proactively resolving complex or incomplete information.
  • Act as a key partner to lead brokers, strengthening and managing relationships with London and international markets across allocated accounts.
  • Demonstrate excellent organisation, communication, and stakeholder management skills across multiple workstreams.
  • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and agreement of all placement documentation, exercising strong attention to detail and governance.
  • Oversee coordination with the Claims team in the event of a loss, ensuring a seamless client experience.
  • Own and maintain account sheets, revenue tracking, and budget documentation, providing insights and identifying trends where appropriate.
  • Build, influence, and maintain strong working relationships with global colleagues, carriers, and strategic partners.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in delivering and improving efficiency and reporting.
  • Drive the ongoing development, maintenance, and enhancement of market appetite documentation in collaboration with the wider team.

Candidate Profile

About You:

  • Significant experience in casualty insurance, and advanced understanding of casualty clauses, policy wordings, and their practical application in complex placements.
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of systems such as Brokasure, Salesforce, and Artificial, with the ability to optimise their use.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of PPL and its application within the London Marke
