Lockton Transportation & Logistics Division is developing and enhancing its capabilities and we are now looking to recruit an Aviation Broker to join our dynamic and expanding team in London

The Lockton Aviation broking team has extensive experience which enables for a better understanding of a client’s needs, exposures and insight in to the most advantageous market for their requirements both in the UK and abroad.

We cover the full spectrum of aviation and aerospace risk whether owner or operator, manufacturer or service provider, refueller or agent.



About the Role



The successful candidate will be responsible for the designing, placement and advice on Aviation program solutions.



Role responsibilities will include:  

 

  • Design, place and advise on program solutions for large and complex clients 
  • Liaise with insurers and clients as required in support of Lockton Insurer Strategic Partners, Account Executives and Brokers.
  • Assist in the collection of insurer panel revenues from Insurers and ensure compliance with the service requirements
  • Attend to the team renewal / allocation lists and ensure that all team renewals are invited / submitted / quoted / bound. Provision of renewal reports / debrief / feedback meetings as necessary.
  • Attendance and speaking at seminars and conferences such as AIRMIC, FERMA, RIMS

Candidate Profile

 

Your knowledge and expertise:  

 

  • Extensive knowledge of Aviation / Aerospace insurance markets and robust relationships with all key insurers.
  • An understanding of the regulatory and legislative landscape affecting related insurance
  • A detailed understanding of the broking process and all regulatory, tax and global compliance matters relating thereto 
  • Ability to formulate a plan for business development and placement strategy
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing with clients, insurers and other associates
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality
