We are hiring for a Business Support Associate to join our Transaction Liability team in Malta.

Assisting the broking team with deal management services, and ensuring adherence to the operational model of Lockton European Brokers Limited (LEBL), in close liaison with various teams in the UK

• Conduct client onboarding in line with LEBL process and procedures
• Handle risk placements in line with LEBL operational model
• Support in the preparation of market and client documentation
• Checking of policy and other documentation for accuracy and compliance with LEBL procedures prior to issuance to the client
• Provision of documentation to clients in accordance with Lockton procedures
• Assist with tasks to support the operations of the team, including data analysis, marketing, market research

Candidate Profile

• An understanding of regulatory controls and procedures applicable to insurance brokers and appreciation of the importance of compliance with internal and external policies and procedures
• Willingness to develop knowledge through formal and informal learning,
• Excellent use of English language (both written and spoken)
• Ability and willingness to undertake occasional business travel to the UK
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing with clients, insurers and other Associates
• Excellent time management and the ability to work independently and under pressure, managing clients’ deadlines
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, including research and investigation
• Demonstrate an understanding of when to proceed alone and when to involve the appropriate Associates
• An understanding of and adherence to Lockton standards and procedures
• Highly motivated with excellent attention to detail
• Knowledge of the computer desktop software provided by Lockton
• Knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or similar software applications
