Account Executive - Professional Indemnity

Description

Our Miscellaneous PI team are growing, and are hiring for an Account Executive. We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Professions PI broker to manage a diverse portfolio of large complex accounts across a wide variety of sectors, delivering exceptional service and strategic insurance advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor, delivering tailored consultancy and risk solutions to professional clients.
  • Manage the full renewal process from end to end – including market submissions, client-facing market meetings, and renewal reporting.
  • Lead and contribute to Client Strategy Meetings, ensuring alignment between client objectives and insurance solutions.
  • Conduct technical reviews of insurance programmes and recommend enhancements.
  • Build strong relationships with key insurers and market partners to drive optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor industry trends, sharing insights to shape internal thinking and client strategies.
  • Collaborate across Lockton’s internal teams and verticals to enhance service delivery and develop bespoke solutions.
  • Identify and support new business and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Produce high-quality client reports, presentations, and thought leadership content.
  • Support wider team initiatives including webinars, social media, and service innovation projects.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in Professional Indemnity insurance, ideally in a brokerage environment.
  • A client-first mindset with strong commercial awareness.
  • Curiosity and energy – you're driven by continuous learning and thrive in an environment where you work with unique clients and unique business everyday.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • A collaborative spirit – you enjoy working as part of a team and sharing knowledge.
